Bremont Watch MWII Flying Tiger Jet Bracelet. This remarkable Bremont MWII Flying Tiger Jet watch pays tribute to the American Volunteer Group of the Chinese Air Force from 1941-1942, nicknamed the Flying Tigers. This group of exceptional pilots enlisted under President Franklin Roosevelts authority before Pearl Harbour with a mission to fly with Chinese colours under American control. During their service, they demonstrated impressive tactical victories that gave hope to America during a time when stories of defeat were prevalent. The Bremont MWII Flying Tiger does a fantastic job of commemorating the bravery and skill of the pilots with a stealthy all-black aesthetic and a striking Flying Tigers logo on the dial. Designed in collaboration with actor and avid aviator Michael Wong, the Bremont MWII Flying Tiger Jet watch continues to tribute the group of pilots with a white stylised five-petal Hong Kong orchid tree, otherwise known as the Bauhinia blakeana flower and symbol of the Hong Kong flag, set on the end of the bottom crown. The star found on the Chinese flag can also be found on the top crown. Its 43mm stainless steel DLC coated case looks striking on the wrist complimented by a black coloured barrel and a sophisticated black DLC bracelet. Hidden within the case and beneath the black metal dial is the BE-36AE automatic chronometer movement, an in-house manufacture calibre with 25 jewels, a frequency of 28,800 bph and a 38 hour power reserve. You can witness the extortionary power of the mechanical movement through the tinted black smoked glass exhibition case back where you can see the components working together to power the hour, minutes and seconds hands and a date window at 3 o clock.
