Seiko 5 Automatic Silver Dial Stainless Steel Mens Watch Snk355k1

Seiko 5 Automatic Silver Dial Stainless Steel Mens Watch SNK355K1 The Case and Bracelet:Seiko 5 Automatic SNK355K1 Silver Dial Stainless Steel Mens Watch is made from a polished stainless steel, whilst the stainless steel bracelet has been finished using a brushing technique. This contrast creates a very dynamic and interesting looking timepiece. The bold bezel is large in size and is some what reminiscent of more expensive Seiko models. There is also a crown present besides the 4 oclock marker, which allows for greater wearer comfort. Hardlex crystal glass has been used in order to preven scracth or shatter damage. An open case back window allows you to see all the inner workings of the timepiece. The bracelet fastens using a deployment clasp. The Dial:Upon first inspection the dial seemingly appears to just be a basic silver design, however when observing it more closely it becomes apparent that it is made up of very faint Seiko 5 logos, like the one positioned beneath the 12 oclock mark. The applied indices are also silver, whilst the hands, which are also predominately silver, have a lume coating. A dual language day date window replaced the 3 oclock marker. The Functions:This timepiece is powered by an automatic 21 jewel movement. The caliber used in particular is a Seiko exclusive 7S26 which hasprovided reliable timekeeping for Seiko watches over the years. 21 jewels work individually inside the piece to help keep the time steady as they help reduce friction and wear. This watch has a water resistance of 30 metres, making it suitable for light splashes.Key Features:Exclusive Seiko 7S36 Calibre21-Jewel Automatic MovementLuminous Hands and MarkersOpen Case BackDay-Date WindowWater Resistant to 30m18mm Lug Width21cm Maximum Bracelet Length37mm Case WidthEnglish/French Dual Language11mm Case HeightThe Family: Seiko 5The Seiko 5 family has set the standard in affordable, rugged and stylish watches since 1963. They incorporate simplicity, but seriousness. The name of the Seiko 5 derives from its five key attributes, which Seiko promised to include in every watch that belonged to the family. They are: automatic winding, displaying the day and date in a single window, water resistance, a recessed crown at the 4 oclock position and a durable metal bracelet. 1963 marked the year that the Seiko 5 acted as a catalyst in the horological revolution in automatic watchmaking. Even after being in the market for over 50 years, albeit the Seiko 5 still remains as cool and relevant as ever. Though this serves as proof that expert craftsmanship and elegant design will never go out of fashion. The Brand: SeikoCeaseless determination to innovate in every aspect of the watchmakers art is what defines Seikos 135-year history. By embracing this ethos, Seiko has been responsible for a string of industry-leading advances in the technology of time. Notably, the creation of the worlds first quartz watch in 1969. Or equally impressive the creation of the worlds first TV watch in 1982. And even more relevant today, with our abhorrent use of non-renewable energy sources, Seikos Kinetic. This watch had the ability to generate its own power from the movement of the wearer, it was released in 1988. The listed technological developments serve as evidence to illustrate the revolutionary impact which Seiko has had on the watchmaking world. They are also remarkably unique in that they manufacture every aspect of every watch in-house. They even grow their own quartz crystals and sapphires, hence why Seiko are renowned for being watchmaking experts. If you have any questions pleaseclick hereClick here to join ourfacebookandInstagram!
